red hr line

Just as fashion trends come and go the home interior design trends too change every season. The home décor style that was most popular last season may become old and jaded the next. Gray color is hard to achieve so the gray wooden floor can be a bit expensive. Make sure that you use a good water based poly finish for your flooring to prevent yellowing.

Dark Hardwood Flooring

Dark Hardwood flooring has been in trend for a long time and it has become a timeless classic.  Jacobean and Ebony shades have become a favorite choice of flooring among several homeowners around the world. The deep and dark colors exude class and beautifully complement the lighter shades of decorative pieces around. The best thing about the dark hardwood flooring is that they are easy to clean and maintain and it camouflages the imperfections perfectly.

Whitewashed Hardwood Flooring

A whitewashed wood floor is a great away to evoke a feeling of a plush, high-end apartment. It is modern, urbane and it works perfectly to add lightness to your overall home décor. Just like gray floors, it is difficult to achieve the perfect white color shade and is expensive. It also needs the same type of finishing to keep the luster of the floor for a long time.

The modern-day bamboo floors are an engineer and they include the inner fibers of the plant, which lets to create a wider range of styles.

Reclaimed hardwood flooring

If you are looking to create a rustic look in your home, the reclaimed hardwood flooring would be a perfect choice. Reclaimed hardwood retains the natural character and the imperfection of the wood. It is an eco-friendly material as it is made from the old and recycled old beams, old wooden logs and antique floors.
